Does this place even have movies that aren't low key sex films? Or sponsored by chicken?

[nyoooom. he will find lust sitting on the floor with a few bottles of nail polish, a nail file, some polish remover and a few q-tips at their disposal. there's also what looks like a romcom on the TV.]

There's a few. You just gotta know where to look! [they look up, and this time yuri can see pink eyes staring out at him from under the hood. they look happy to see him.] Have a seat.

[ well he can't see naked body parts swinging yet, so this gets the seal of approval. yuri drops himself down next to them and looks at their Tool Kit, with definite curiosity. ]

Like a prize, for persistence?

[probe]

Yeah. Put in the effort, get the reward. [they hold out a hand as if asking for one of yuri's. what's the state of his nails? are they well-cared for?]

[aubins]

[ he will let them have his right hand. the nails are about as well cared for as he can keep them -- considering he's a swordfighter and has just come from the middle of a war. if he can maintain eyeshadow, i say he can maintain decent nail care. ]

Makes sense. I'll have to dig deep through cupboards if I ever decide I want to watch something myself in here.

[good for him. he's so valid. lust is taking their nail file though and gently shaping the nails of his right hand. also for your reference this is what they're doing but without the glitter and in a purple that matches closer to his hair.]

What kind of stories do you like anyway? Pretty sure there's something in there for everybody.

[ he is going to be watching the process like it's the most interesting thing he's seen in a while -- because it is. ]

I'm not really sure. Most of the books I've seen around are tales of noble knights and valiant deeds and... eh. Not really my thing.

[nailtime for yuri. yuri will also probably notice that lust's hands are smaller and very soft? they're gentle with their movements while they work.]

No heroics then. Maybe you're more of a mystery guy...or a good detective thriller?

Detective?

[ ... ] A mystery wouldn't be so bad. Is the other one more to do with solving mysteries?

[probe]

Detectives do all kinds of stuff like investigate crime scenes and interrogate people and sometimes they shoot people and go on rescue missions! They work with the police a lot but sometimes they work on their own. I think detective mysteries are different than normal mysteries though because there's always an answer.

I don't mind them, but I really like unsolved mysteries, too. Like the paranormal and unexplained phenomenons and stuff.

So, the easy to explain and the less clean cut, and you like the more complicated one?

[ he's still watching the nail art, but he does look up and give them a small smile - a little conspiratory quirk of the lips. ]

I think I would too. Although I do like my answers, sometimes the more difficult something is to solve the more interesting it is.

[with his nails nice and buffed they will pick up a bottle of polish and also some masking tape.]

Exactly! I think it's interesting to try to explain the unexplained. My friends and I used to go exploring trying to find the creepy and unusual, like UFOs and stuff. But I can respect people who do investigations and solve other mysteries, too.

[aubins]

[ oooh what will they use the tape for... yuri will stay tuned to find out. ]

An unidentified flying object! [the tape is used to block off part of his nail at the top so they can paint the bottom part. tape tape tape.] Like a space ship for aliens.

Yes. They're just up there. [ please take that to mean no one's devoted time to space travel because they haven't and i don't want to think up fantasy era understanding space reasons. ]
