Funny, considering that's never been a guarantee or even an idea beyond "it could possibly be possible." [there's a low level feeling of exhaustion and his own vague annoyance.] I did find it quite interesting that several of you seemed to know exactly how this week's case went after a certain point and still chose not to discuss other pertinent topics with the time you had.

To be quite honest, I wasn't hopeful that there would be topics beyond a summary of the things we've discovered across the week. The unanimous decree of murderous intent, all in one spot, toward the monster was kind of unexpected? I didn't think they'd go up and thought, hey, super cool to maybe give monster a big alert that all of us want to take a stab at it! Be warned! Be prepared!

[ Says Gojou, who told Greed he wants to kill it the other day. That's okay. He is one man and they were in a closet versus... Several people in the conference room. Annoyance is buzzing louder than before. ]

But you're right, it was completely idiotic to go about that approach. But you still have a handful of murders that have gone unsolved and at least four other murderers walking amongst you. [there's another pause.]

I still advise against attacking it, but I've come to learn I can't stop any of you from doing anything you want to do.

Oh, no. I do think Medb is justified to kill Childe again. I just think the notion of saying Childe will come back again so easily is what I have issue with. Imagining someone telling me that, yeah, you can kill Douman if he comes back... You can be with Omi if he comes back. As a joke—those opportunities were robbed from me, you know?

Maybe I'm overexplaining.

[ He hopes that this makes sense? Usually, he wouldn't be easily aggravated by jokes... But wow. This week. Gojou is quite fond of Medb throughout, so his annoyance isn't at all to her. ]

No, I think you're explaining just enough. Regardless of how anyone feels about the people involved, the word I would use for a majority of today's trial is "insensitive" to multiple people.

[normally greed doesn't care much about being delicate, but...these things are much different.]

And yet people fail to see that some of the biggest monsters are the people around us.

It'd be more palatable if everyone was upfront about murder being what it is, motive or not. I don't have a strong moral compass, but the inconsistency—I'm sick of hearing from a group of people barking about what's right and what's justified.

[ Gojou goes quiet because for a bit since his emotions went strange. They're a strange swirl of wonder, frustration, thoughts about death, dipping into something more dangerous... He closes his eyes and dispels it because it's ugly. ]

I guess this is more because you're an Avatar, but you haven't yelled into my ear about which kill is justified and ranked them based on your personal bias. [ Greed impression: ] "Everyone deserves a chance to learn the truth about things."

[never mind tomorrow there will be an execution after all and it's going to be greed's. he's half-tempted to splash some of the dolphin's water at gojou to get him to stop talking but simultaneously it's hard to pretend to be completely annoyed. he's like 70% annoyed because wow, rude.]

The least you can do, huh... I personally don’t have much stake in the old cases, but I hope people that are can find the truth.

Considering today, I highly doubt anyone will care about the old cases. It's as you've said. Their focus will now shift to the monster they can identify.

... Then the dead will be a prize? Is that what it is? As if nothing that has happened truly mattered.

You'd have to ask them. The dead are gone, as you know. We've never guaranteed they can come back, though we can't say it's entirely impossible either. We've never seen the wish mechanic actually work. So to completely discount that seems foolish, but it's equally foolish to put all of your hope into it.

In a sense...to help them, sure, figuring out what to do about this thing is a priority. But the dead shouldn't be an afterthought either. It becomes complicated given their relationship with it.

[ In full confidence, Gojou understands the chances are nebulous, but it doesn’t deter him. ]

Hard to say I disagree when I chose not to say anything most of the time.

Almost everyone. [odd.] And thus the reason you don't dwell at all, or even give much attention to it. Understandably so.
