That's generally how conversations work, yes. [that is to say they expected this. there's a pause.] Considering I've already had my some of my private affairs aired out without my permission I would rather answer things myself.
[ Snickers... The unshattered tea sets are put away. ]
I actually didn't expect Gluttony to be a kiss and tell kind of person?
[ But he isn't going to pry into that. He doesn't care about sex lives. ]
How do I put this! I'm not the most personable guy? I don't think the same way as usual people, so I find it difficult to handle them outside of business. It's been easier now that I get to spend more quality time, so I have several references... There are a lot of nice people on the station. They don't just write me off as someone who can always take care of himself, too. Having no powers makes it easier, though I think it has also changed my mindset. I don't think myself as someone separate from the rest all the time.
[ Hmmm. ]
I wouldn't say that I've become the kindest and most compassionate person here, but it's something. I might be able to support my students better than I did before.
Yes, well. [they seem to wave that off a bit. gluttony is gluttony and while greed is going to be fussed about it for a while they don't feel like lingering on it. instead, they listen to gojou's explanation.
hmm, indeed.]
Without your typical job and your original set of abilities, you find yourself having more in common with the collective as a whole due to having additional time to learn about them. Less of an outlier due to being on a more even playing field.
[huh.]
I'll admit that wasn't what I was expecting. [but it's not bad either.]
If this place is supposed to cultivate my desire to kill for what I want, it's not like I don't have that already.
[ maybe??? he guesses that's impactful. People, by default, don't want to kill and learning that sometimes they have to is one of the biggest hurdles. ]
Perhaps he has. That doesn't change that his focus is drifting when it shouldn't be.
[mineo needs to focus on himself more.]
It depends on the things. If a bad thing doesn't change at all, then I would hardly call that comforting. Though, of course, if there's something stable and good...most people would find that helpful.
[ NO, HE ISN'T GOING TO SMOOCH MINEO MORE. To the answer, though... Gojou stops cleaning to stare at Greed. Doesn't blink. Kind of like a cat with pale blue eyes—you can see the sky in them, etc.
Point is, that's a fucking cop-out, motherfucker. ]
Wowww, we seem to have a lot in common. [ He laughs a bit. ] I've been playing chess a bit more while I'm here. Stopped playing it since I had so much work to do before.
...I would like that, sure. [they would be more than fine with that. gojou goes back to cleaning and greed continues to watch.]
Envy doesn't seem to have a clue about much of anything. [envy is no longer dead and dying so greed doesn't have to feel bad about being rude.] Though the true answer is that it's hard to quantify until we see what's been done with your group.

Curious about lil' ol' me again?
[ him! cleaning up the tea room! in a playboy bunny suit! cursed!! with ass!!! ]
no subject
Yes. I believe I am.
no subject
Oh, this time he is actually surprised that he drops a teacup he was holding. It's fine. He catches it easily. ]
You know this means I get to be a bit nosy, too.

[ i would never play Gojou, otherwise. Anyway, he's glad that Greed understands. ]
What were you expecting?
no subject
[but they shake their head.] To be honest, I'm not sure. Perhaps something less...impactful.

Given your profession I would be more surprised to hear you didn't have that to begin with. [it's just a fact of life for some people.]
no subject
[ He squints. ]
... I guess some people can come out of this more open-minded?
no subject
[and greed doesn't even dislike them but sometimes people are tiring to argue with.]
no subject
[ Gojou is fond of that one among others. ]
You don't think it's comforting that some things don't change?

[ MINEO GOTTA SMOOCH MORE??? Hm. Gojou keeps this in mind. ]
All right, Greed. Tell me something that gives you comfort.
no subject
[gojou can absolutely go smooch mineo more, that's fine. this question feels like a trap though because greed pauses.]
...Maus, actually.
[...naming their dog is a cop-out but it's also true.]

[ NO, HE ISN'T GOING TO SMOOCH MINEO MORE. To the answer, though... Gojou stops cleaning to stare at Greed. Doesn't blink. Kind of like a cat with pale blue eyes—you can see the sky in them, etc.

[that's fine. gojou can stare and see a purple glow from under greed's hood where they seem to be staring back? what.]
You asked. I merely provided an appropriate answer. [which is true, they do love that dog very much.]
no subject
[ What good dog... Precious. Nothing like Pom Gets Wi-Fi. ]
no subject
The library, I suppose. Tea, though not always the tea room. Chess, because the game is familiar but consistently a different outcome with each move.
[and they give him another look as if to say "will that work?"]
no subject
Wowww, we seem to have a lot in common. [ He laughs a bit. ] I've been playing chess a bit more while I'm here. Stopped playing it since I had so much work to do before.
[ Another: ]
Do you miss home?
no subject
[that's another harder question and for whatever reason it's complicated to answer.]
In a sense. But there's still work to be completed here before we can think about finding a way back.
no subject
[ But back to cleaning and not staring at them. ]
In a sense. How much more work after our batch? I remember asking Envy and he had no clue.
no subject

I see, that makes sense. [ ... ] So, why Gluttony?
[ NOT THE SEX LIFE OR LOVE LIFE, BUT WHY PICK THAT ONE ]
