[she turns back, deliberating, before she starts down the path that veers right (unless anyone objects).]
[off they go to the right! this - seems to be the right direction, because there's light coming from the end of the vent. they keep going, until they find themselves in a vent facing a conference room.
there's a long table, with several chairs on either side, as well as a TV screen on the far wall. there are also several cups along the table, filled with things like scissors and pencils and pens. on the floor is a big rug with a zig-ziggy design on it. oh, and probably most importantly, there are eight people in the chairs, slumped over the table.]
first things first, once they see those slumped-over people, sqx is heading right on over to take a closer look at them. what do they look like? do they seem injured? if she listens, does it sound like they're breathing? if not - do they have a pulse? she'll grab the wrist of one of them and check for a pulse if she can't hear any breathing.]
before anything else, she's grabbing a pair of scissors in case they get attacked out of nowhere by something else. but then... while sqx checks to see if they're alive, endorsi is giving each person a quick glance to see exactly who they are.
but when she notices aoi:]

[she doesn't trust this room and she Will protect the noodle.]
[there's a door, but it's also jammed. there's a vent across the room from where they came in, though!
when endorsi goes for the scissors, she sees a little piece of paper sticking out of where the pencils are being held.
as for the bodies... well. none of them are breathing.
sqx grabs the wrist of the closest one, and might be startled to realize that she recognizes who it is. there's no pulse, and his skin is cold, and a little blue. across from him, facedown on the table is another familiar face. next to him is a redhead, slumped in his seat with his chin on his chest. next to the redhead is a woman, staring lifelessly up at the ceiling.
the other four bodies are hard to look at. not because they're in terrible shape, but just because they seem... out of focus. it's impossible to tell who they are, or what they look like. for now, anyway.
either way, all of them are sluggishly bleeding from their eyes, ears and noses, and are very, very dead.]
literally all of the color drains out of sqx's face as she recognizes these people, and she bites down on her lip to keep herself from shrieking. it's not real. it can't be real, right? this is... they just woke up here. usually it's just four of them who go missing. this can't be, it isn't -
[ aoi is somehow not panicking. she is headed over to check out the tv though and see if it turns on. just ignoring that endorsi has to babysit her, sorry.
she's a little mumble-y because she can't quite figure out her own volume with her ears as they are, but: ]

[for a second, she looks like she's going to reach out to him, but it's not real. it's not real, she reminds herself. she - has to believe it's not real. she pulls out the piece of paper and looks at it, forcing herself to look away from him.]
[ Her grip on the scissors turns her knuckles white when she sees the familiar faces. ]
It's an illusion meant to disorient us.
[ Her voice is cold with fury. It has to be an illusion. All the other cases of people missing like this.... seeing copies of people they know but aren't them. It has to be same. She refuses to accept otherwise.
She begins looking around the corpses(?) to see if there's anything sticking out from them outside of their bleeding and deadness. ]
[the TV does turn on! it's sort of like turning on a program in the middle of a tornado/siren warning. it makes a very alarming sound, and shows a blue screen that reads UPDATE MINI INTEGRATED LIFE FORMS in a blinding red font. the lights in the room flicker, and in the distance there's thudding.
the paper endorsi finds seems to be another one of those grey tags. this one reads NAME OF DECEASED: DEAN WINCHESTER. the other information is scratched out, but under CAUSE OF DEATH: it reads SENT TO HELL.
medb does a look at the bodies - they're all icy and cold, but they feel pretty real. fleshlike, and a little stiff. however, when she looks at childe in particular, she finds that there's a red wire sticking out from under his shirt collar.]
anyway, sqx sincerely hates this! the sound of thudding, in particular, also has her arming herself with a pair of scissors from the cups on the table. but once she's got that, she's going to start with yuri's corpse and check his clothing for any items he might have on his person. if she's not stopped, she'll check on the others (sans childe, since medb's handling him) too.]
[she pockets the tag even as she frowns at the sudden siren and thudding - but while sqx starts with yuri, endorsi heads over to white to carefully check him over in turn, very carefully.

all at once, the backs of your necks are... itchy? and kind of sore. if you reach up to touch, you find a wound that wasn't there before. obviously you can't see the back of your own neck, but to everybody else, it looks almost like an ethernet port shaped wound has just been jammed into the back of your neck. touching it makes you feel dizzy and tired.]
