[She's staggering over towards the vent as well, hand (the one with all her fingers intact) pressed against her side, which is now bleeding a little bit more heavily after being crushed by a robot for a few tag rounds. It's hoarse, due to the smoke, but:]

[off they go! they continue to hear thudding, and this time, since they're closer, they can hear the scrabbling of what sounds like claws on metal. as they make their way through, slowly and surely, nothing seems to happen.

[she makes a face upon hearing that noise - claws on metal... vent rat... vent furby... eugh. luckily, they don't seem to be running into it.
once they make it to the other side, though, she takes a breath and keeps one hand on the hallway's wall to head over to that thing that looks like a trash can. can she look inside it? does it have a lid? will she have to open it? she'll try as best she can with a single hand if she does.]
[She crawls out into the hallway, and since SQX is handling that trash can... She'll head over to the yellow containers stacked against the wall with a wince, moving her good hand from her side to see if she can open one of them.]
[the trash does not have a lid, and it's easy enough to look through. typical trash is in it, like old apple cores, crumpled papers, a dismembered arm, cardboard boxes. normal stuff.
aoi has a pair of knitting needles! they feel like they're very important to someone. also, they're very sharp. be careful.
there's just the one door at the end of the hallway, yes. and endorsi has a bit of trouble trying to open the yellow container. not because it's locked or anything, it's just pretty heavy.]

she'll. pick up that arm and get a closer look at it because murder investigations and body examinations have ruined her, i guess. does it look like it was dismembered cleanly or messily? anything identifying on it? does it appear to be holding anything in its cold, dead hand?]
[ i'm sorry that you all have to be responsible for aoi's useless ass but she's just gonna have a little sit down... while everyone searches the area... just a lil rest-sit. ]
[there's nothing of note on the papers. they're just like handwritten notes that are reminders, basically, things like clean the kitchen or it's joseph's turn to make dinner - stuff like that. cardboard boxes are just boxes that have been broken down.
i'm glad that aoi is taking a nap as sqx just pulls an arm out of the trash. the arm is not holding anything. it's dark skinned and has bruised knuckles, though. it looks like it was bitten off, if she looks closely - there are teeth marks, around where the shoulder joint is.
meanwhile, medb and endorsi manage to open the container together! there's not much of note in here; it seems like it's mostly supplies. medical supplies, astronaut food, stuff like that. oh, also, a red umbrella.
sqx makes a face and throws the arm into the vent. maybe it'll distract whatever the fuck is rattling it. i hope this wasn't beau's arm because if it was i'll feel bad about it alter.]
