which is to say grace will gladly join them at the dog park, immediately crouching and offering maus a... normal dog treat and not a bone. once was enough. ]

[greed and maus are sitting on the grass in the dog park, which means that when grace approaches with a treat maus is immediately on his feet and barking happily to snatch it from her fingers.]

Mind your manners, Maus. [maus drops the treat and wags his tail with a small yip of thanks before taking it again. his treat now.]

[ grace sits down next to them both, immediately going for petting the dog thank ]

I know it was probably just scared, but I'm still mad at that other dog. Maus is so much better. [ :/ ]

[maus armycrawls his way closer to grace to be in petting range while eating his treat.]

Are you mad because it incinerated the shrimp, or because it didn't stay behind?

Kinda both? I don't think the shrimp were that important, but. That was a little annoying too.

[ but really bitch could have stayed instead of running off after she made the effort to find it. damn. maus is getting ALL the pets instead ]

I imagine it's because the dog wasn't relevant to the case after that. Perhaps it heard a sound only it could hear to beckon it back to the park?

[maus is perfect and it shows that greed is biased when they scritch their dog on his widdle head.]

It sounds weird when you put it like that. [ it's fine maus is getting all the pets from two people now ] I mean, so long as it's fine or whatever. But who knows, maybe we could have used it to check everyone to see who killed Eleanor.

While that wouldn't be the most unorthodox method I've seen used in a courtroom, I don't think that would have gone quite as you imagine.

I mean, I figure he'd have just set anyone and everyone on fire...

I've been a part of many cases that have been out of the ordinary, to say the least. Nearly all of the cases I've acted as prosecution have been murder cases.

But did you bring on a dog as a witness?

That one worked out in your favor, too, though. [ she nudges greedworth with maus' paw, because the dog is letting her do things ] So I'm not seeing the downside in trying to use a dog as evidence next time. Even if they're naughty and breathe fire everywhere.
