the pitbull is loving this, leg kicking. however, the poodle is incredibly offended. which is why it dramatically falls on the ground and stares at sheila and the pitbull like it's been betrayed.]

[Tis but a temporary distraction.

But it is very effective at the moment! She looks at the poodle and frees up at hand, gesturing at it to scooch back over.]

Oh, come on. I only have two hands!

[this is the end for the poodle, it just rolls over on its back and whines. wrath is just laughing, like the worst person in the world.

the pitbull stops licking sheila's face long enough to go over, nudge the poodle over again so that it can pick the poodle up by the scruff, and then deposits the poodle in sheila's lap. fixed! yay!]

[This is the most dramatic poodle and she is here for it.

She boops the poodle's nose when it's back on her lap, and scratches behind the pitbull's ears.]

Why thank you, Mango. Aren't you the sweetest?

[the poodle is doing its best, probably.

it sneezes, when she boops the nose, but seems appeased. this is a win/win scenario. the pitbull is oblivious, just having the time of its life.

wrath is watching, their fingers curled into the front of their robes. there's almost a sense of sadness, coming from them.]

[She is distracted by the dogs, but apparently not distracted enough to miss this. She raises an eyebrow while continuing to distribute pets.]

What's with the long fa— [...] hood?

Uh - nothing. I just... miss people. That's all.

[... they can't be mean, so:]

[they sigh, and fall back to lay on the floor. the poodle squirms out of sheila's lap to go rest its head on wrath's stomach.]

It's uh, it's fine. They don't remember I exist right now, so it doesn't matter.

... What? Wait, why? Why wouldn't they remember you? I mean, come on, with a personality like yours?

[She means this in a good way.]

I don't, um. I don't know, actually! I can't really talk to them. I just know they don't know who I am.

Well... I hope they remember you soon. Then you can give them shit for forgetting you in the first place.
