It's been a while since I've had someone do my nails for me. It's kind of exciting!

[ lust is so valid, beanbag chairs are the best. ]

Really, none of the others have done your nails for you?

[ he has a notebook out as he's walking in. one of the ones borrowed permanently from here, and appears to be scribbling something on one of the pages. when lust looks over, he will hold up a doodle that looks like this for their approval. ]

I was thinking pink, but any colour theme could work.

I haven't really asked, but I don't know if they'd be really into it anyway. [but they lean forward and peer at the page before clapping their hands together.]

I love it! If you're feeling really ambitious maybe a pink base and white hearts? But that's really cute.

If you don't ask you'll never know. [ oh good, he has approval. ]

I figure the glitter has to be built up, like it would with any make up. [ does fe3h have glitter? it does now. ] And the same with the white on a coloured background?

[ hm! ]

I'll do my best. But you're not allowed to be mad if it comes out looking, uh... unique.

I could never be mad at you for doing your best. [that's so sincere, disgusting.] We'll start with the basics and work our way up. Do you want to sit on the floor? Or is the beanbag okay?

[aubins]

Hm. I might need something to rest your hands on if you're staying up there, hold on.

[ he's gonna go find a big book, or something for lust to rest their lil' handsies on ]

[there are board games and stuff that have a good sturdy box but lust sits up a little taller in their beanbag.]

I don't mind moving either.

... Alright, maybe that would be better. But I think I might want the flat surface anyway.

[ rip game box of your choosing, it's becoming yuri's beauty table. ]

That's fine! [yuri can have a box for sorry because why not. they will scoot themselves down to the floor and immediately splay their hands over the box.]

[ alright, he's propping his book open in a way that it won't shut on itself, and picking up a clear coat for lust's nails. look avatar, he's learning! ]

The ones you did for me last week are still looking good, if you wanted an update.

I'm glad! [very happy that yuri is learning and also his nails are still fabulous.] A few of the others came to me after last weekend to have theirs done, too. It's nice to know it's working out.

[aubins]

Was Sheila one of them? [ he will get that base coat on while he talks ] I think she definitely wanted her nails doing.

[probe]

Yup! And Ashiya, too. It was a lot of fun working on theirs and talking to them.

[aubins]

Ashiya? Oh the-- [ he makes a motion with his hands like he's mimicking a flow of long hair, only... on one side of his face and flicking his finger in periodically to represent curls. i was going to say he jingles aggressively but-- ]

Well, I'm glad they're having fun. As long as I didn't accidentally suggest a lot more work into your lap in the process.

Yeah. We got to do some cool designs, and I haven't worked with green much before so it was good practice!

[they shake their head though.] I'm not really as busy as some of the other Avatars, so I kind of like when people come to me to ask to do stuff like that. It's fun taking time to hang out with everybody.

[aubins]

And thus everyone was happy.

[ he's probably most of the way through the base coat on one hand now, so he'll make a grabby motion for their other hand. ]

You all have sort of... defined roles then?

[probe]

[presenting the other hand!]

No, it's nothing like that. We sort of just take on whatever jobs we feel like. It's not like a hierarchy or anything.

[aubins]

And they get to them before you? Honestly though, we must all be trying to get in touch with you guys pretty frequently as well. You're all doing impressively, all things considered.

[probe]

[they shrug and decide it's not important enough to answer.]

Some of you are texting more than others, but it's fine. We make time if we have it available so it's not really a big deal.

And if not we get left in the dark. As we deserve. [ he's grinning because i, becks, am aware i keep crawling in the mod inbox and dumping requests like dead mice at your feet. ]

Out of interest, I'm getting the impression there are limitations on how much you can talk about with us. That true?

[probe]

Pretty much! You can still learn about us and about this place and indulge by talking to each other so it's not a huge thing, but...some of us are more interested in talking than others.

[indulge them by talking! but they shrug again.] What gave you that idea?

[aubins]

I've noticed. [ said with the drollest tone he can manage, as he finishes up hand.......2! and pauses for a moment to let the coat dry fully. ]

Could just be a personality thing, I suppose. Some of you are willing to share things, others aren't. And not just about yourselves. I mean, about this place and what's happening. It's to a point that suggests outside interference to me.

Yuriii. You're thinking about it too much. Some of us are just...not very chatty. And some of us don't like sharing at all because we don't have to, so they choose not to.

[aubins]

[ squints. ]

Allow me my healthy dose of suspicion. [ he's picking up the pink nail varnish now. ] Some of you are cagey about literally everything.
