WHY ARE YOU AT THE CLOWN STORE

Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, tell us about you and the character you're playing, drop contact info, do whatever you want I'm not the boss of you. Or - well, I am, but this post is a lawless land and if I tell you not to post clowns you're gonna post clowns.

We'll be using the server for general game and mod announcements, not to mention trials, but you're still free to link your Plurks for friending, private-convo calls, etc.

We'll be starting the game Friday, Feburary 5th, probably at 3pm PST/6pm EST. Hold onto your butts.

hydok) playing Grell from kuroshitsuji/black butler (manga) because why not. she's here to flirt with all your boys, steal ur girls, and commit some homicides. we'll see what order those things happen in.

for those of you who were asleep in middle school during the Age of Anime, Grell's from a series set in victorian england about some spoiled rich kid and his hot demon butler. she's a minor character and we all know minor characters are the real reason we care about any series.

for those of you who like me had your first exposure to kuroshitsuji through that one girl who wore cat ears from middle school to high school and screamed about ~t3h yaoiz~ to anyone who would listen during lunch while you and your friends pretended not to hear her and also not like anime in general in case cat-ear girl tried to latch on to you like some loveless-peddling tick and thus were traumatized out of ever publicly admitting you have ever read a manga, im sorry, but kuroshitsuji is good actually.

but like, kuroshitsuji is extremely good if you love problematic content(tm) and just. unending suffering. also an arc of extreme cricket (the game)? and actually good female characters.

and also there's a kid who is named Snake and doesn't talk for himself but translates for his twenty pet snakes who are also his only family. he has a Tragic Backstory but i haven't played him yet because i don't feel like writing an app involving snake personalities

Yes!! We'll have to see how homestuck this setting is but I can't wait for them to bond over not understanding technology and also so many other things

hydok I read a bunch of kuroshitsuji a couple years ago when i was in undergrad and I'm not sure I can agree with you except for the parts where agni was there and also circus arc

angi is so good, circus arc made me cry, green witch arc gave me a new anime daughter who i will protect forever. it's all about the minor characters with this series.

this is true. also I didn't get to green witch arc I assume it's where Sieglinde is introduced, I got distracted and stopped reading about halfway through the arc on the boat with the zombies

Zombies on the titanic is one of my favorite arcs, it's got everything. Reapers. Lizzy. Carefully not calling something the Titanic. Grell making a "don't shove something that big into a lady on her first night" comment about an iceberg hitting the not-Titanic.

But yeah the green witch arc is Sieglinde and she's just so good, I love her.

I didn't read that arc but I know Sieglinde bc I played with Rizu's Sieglinde in Futuro so I like her.

I'm still so glad I'm not the only person who plays Sieglinde, at some point I'll dust off my Lizzie account and pester Rizu for Sieglinde.

Hydok you can't understand the psychic damage this did to me because of what I read today in Drill Hole in My Brain which is a short story by the guy who wrote ID: Invaded

Sounds like that guy knows what's up.

Apparently Maijo loves writing about holes in people's heads and detectives and then some anime studio came along and let him do both at once and that's ID: Invaded.

He also wrote one of the Jojo novels and wrote his own character who was already basically a fanfic of an existing character into it.
