[For now, getting bored of it doesn't seem to be in the cards... Though he does shift a little so he can hold his hands out! He holds them about five inches apart, making a sort of cradle with his palms.]
Mm... It's a little hard to describe! But it's like looking out into a sea of light, or like seeing candles that move in the wind. The more a person feels and the stronger their emotions are, the more the light flickers. [SOUL METABOLISM... It's some funky shit. He spreads his fingers a little.] There's a feeling that comes with them, too! Souls all look the same to me in their base shape, but I can still tell which one belongs to which person if I spend enough time around it, so it's an easy way to find people or tell them apart. I can still sense it even if I'm not looking at it.
[thanks light novel for giving me all this new soul lore]
...is that just how the world looks to you, all the time? Or do you have to actively try to see them?
[his head tilts a little, curious-- of course he's fascinated by the idea of someone else seeing the world differently from others, in a very literal sense.]
[This is surprisingly (or not) not the first time someone else has shown interest in this particular topic, and he answers with a little huff of laughter.]
That's the way it always looks to me, mm! [HIS SOUL EYES.] I've explained that coming here has been like losing a sense, before - like hearing, or touch. It's strange to look at someone and not see the shape or light of their soul.
[He's honestly sure plenty of people here do, given the mix of abilities and General Types Of Existences present. Still, he talks like it's a novel thing.]
Hey, are there anything like sorcerers where you come from? You sound like you'd be pretty close to one, if you were from my home.
Oh-- then yeah, I think I'm close enough to that. I don't really do any kind of exorcism with spirits, though? I probably could, if I wanted, but... I don't like the idea. I'd rather get them ready to move on than force them to.
Haha, you'd definitely be in the minority. But exorcism for a sorcerer is different, I think! It's not really about helping something move on, it's just about clearing out a danger to humans.
[A little shrug. He views humans as less than insects and understands sorcerers view curses in the same way. He's not like Jogo; it doesn't bother him in the same deep-seated way.]

[he shifts slightly, there.]
Normally I'd be able to sense it if any of you weren't human, or had powers? And obviously none of you do here! So I don't feel anything, either.

[WHY DOES GOJOU KEEP COMING UP IN HIS CONVERSATIONS.]
Exorcist would probably be another term that might be more widely used.
