Okay, no. Just kidding. There is no judgement to be found here. Just the happiness of seeing a friend. She waves at him as she saunters over, wearing a nice beach dress with a pair of thick sandals. No missing toesies to be seen here.]

Hi! [Just gonna join him in vibing.] Totally. I can't say I understand how the hell they fit this in here, but this is amazing.

Right? I'm not used to beaches that are like this, I've only been to ones further north and they don't have as much, uh. Sand and sun. Nice to see one this peaceful, too.

[there's a little wave of anxiety when he looks out to the ocean, calming somewhat when he turns away from it.]

You should stop by California someday. I might be biased, they're the best.

[Though, she senses that anxiety... so maybe not. She looks around, until she spots a nice spot away from the shore, complete with an umbrella and a beach blanket.]

Come on, let's sit down over there.

... maybe. It's mostly, um-- I don't think they'd be any more comfortable for me.

[getting away from the water absolutely helps, though-- he exhales a relieved sigh as he settles in under the umbrella.]

[She reaches over to pat his arm, gently just in case there's an eye lurking there.]

Oh- no, no, it's fine here! It's just, um. You know how I see things? The ocean has like, a lot of freaky shit in it that people can't see, actually.

[... She frowns, gazing at the water.]
