[the dog is getting pats!! the dog is also just snuffling around in lust's hood like a baby.]
Hehe. That's sweet, but people don't really give us a lot of gifts or anything. And where I'm from I only had a few pieces I wore a lot. Earrings, mostly.
We should get you a matching one, too. Then it'll really be a friendship bracelet. [nodding!] And it doesn't matter if it changes. There are some Avatars I'd like to see get more gifts and stuff because they deserve it, but sometimes the best gift is just leaving them alone, too.
Hm... that would be cute. [maybe she'll go back and look for one. (i promise i'll log all the gifts she stole once we work out who's actually accepting them because if they don't she'll just put them back.)] ...just leaving them alone, huh...
Probably. Pride doesn't do so good with lots of people crowding their space. You have to be really calm with them and let them talk to you in the way they're most comfortable with.
...I guess if that's what they like... it seems like it would be lonely, though! I hope they at least have other people talking with them that they get along with.
Maybe it is, but it's better than stressing them out. They like people who give them space and don't push for questions and treat the things they like with respect. They're not good at small talk and they don't like people who ask stupid questions. And they like people that are upfront about what they want without being coy about it.
They're usually allergic to kindness, but if you do it in a roundabout way they let it slide.

[they hold up their arm to admire the bracelet.]
I'll keep it forever then.

...well, I hope that changes! [the others should be giving them gifts wtf.] And that makes me really happy.
[if they keep it forever that means they'll remember her even after they leave!!]

Ah. I definitely scared them off the first time we talked then.
[oops.]

You can always make up for it though. You just have to try again, but like, slower.

But they haven't responded [(me running to check to make sure gmail didn't just eat a notif or something)] so they're probably busy...
