[He's in the kitchen, with honestly so many different batters.]

It was nine hours- [He's snappier than usual.]

[A breath and he's back to just... tired.]

Were you watching all of that?

Yeah. Seems like some of you guys are taking it pretty rough.

[they shrug, slightly, hands tucked into their robe pockets.]

[housewolf]

Is that surprising?

[probe]

I mean, you didn't have to do anything! So I don't know what the big deal is, I guess.

[housewolf]

We don't know why the person who killed did it or what the consequences of voting wrong are going to be.

[probe]

Probably the same as if you'd voted right! You'd have to find who did it to ask them why, though.

[housewolf]

What's gonna happen tomorrow?

That, uh, is something you just have to find out.

Is it going to be the same every week?

Couldn't say! I mean, it's kind of up to you guys? If nobody killed, I guess there wouldn't be a reason for any of it.

[they just shrug, moving to find a place to sit down.]

I really, genuinely could not tell you for sure. But probably.

[There's some spare counter top, at least.

Especially as Omi begins to shape the cookies out of the batter he's got.]

First time running this kinda thing?

I wouldn't say I'm super experienced.

[they watch the progress on those cookies curiously, just here to observe.]

[They're formed into little balls, just far enough apart that they won't turn into a monster cookie.]

[they look a little sheepish.]

Do you know what was up with the base on Thursday night? With getting knocked out and the... blood in the kitchen? Did you see that?

Oh, yeah, I think a couple of you were asking earlier, right? It's basically just-- this place helps people indulge, but sometimes that turns out weird.

[housewolf]

[He nods.] It was hard to follow everything that was happening earlier. [chaotic.]

Does it do that for you too?

Nope, not really! Guess we get privileges that way.

I really don't want to wake up in blood again.
