It'll be our secret. [hehe. but then, a bit more somberly:] ...to be honest? Sometimes I don't know what I'd do without them. Them and Wrath, too. The others are nice and everything but I trust those two the most.
You need a support network as much as the rest of us do. If only so you have someone to complain to when we're messaging you with questions for the nth time.
[ hehe. ] Well, I'm very biased when it comes to firebird, so I can say you're a lady of excellent taste.
Yeah, that's true. Not that I mind when you guys ask questions! But I think it's just as important for them, too.
[but there's another enthusiastic nod!] Wrath's like...kind not really like a mom or anything, but like a cool older sister I want to hang out with all the time. I've never had that before, so it's really nice to have her around. And there's stuff I know I can talk to her about that I can't tell anyone else.
You mind a little. If it's just the questions, right?
[ he knows the drill, he's heard it from the other avatar they keep talking about. the one who didn't lose her head. ]
She sort of seems like the sort of person who could handle anything life throws at her, doesn't she? ... Keep an eye on her though. It's normally those people who take on too much and end up worn down.
Depends on the questions. [she'll be honest about it at least.]
She's one of the most resilient people I know! I really admire that about her...but I know. She won't always ask for help from us when she needs it, so I'm doing my best to make sure somebody else can. Even if it's just Despair or you guys.
As long as someone's looking out for her. I think plenty of us are though -- and Despair seems like the sort of person who'd just silently shame you into doing something anyway. Are they a bit, uh... unstoppable force meets immoveable object?
You kind of assume they would be though if you think about it, right? But often it's more a case of differing opinions and personalities that might sometimes clash, but also make up for what you personally can't do.
People put limp lettuce leaves on pizza? [ hello? ]
Isn't that a sibling thing though? Families can be extremely different, but most of the time they'll look out for each other. Whether it's family of choice or blood relations.
Yes! It's something I've wanted for a while...he made my mom really happy. And me too. Things just got kind of complicated there for a while. But maybe now someday it can happen.

They're lucky to have you, Little-A. I hope they're aware of that.

[they feel very strongly about this, it seems.]

[ aww. ]
You two are adorable, but don't tell them I said that.

You're not wrong. They're pretty scary when they want to be. Have you talked to them much?

From time to time. I don't mind the no nonsense attitude, but somehow that makes them getting on with firebird even funnier.

They actually get along pretty well. It's kind of funny. But I think they balance each other a lot where they need it most.
no subject
That’s half the struggle, really. Polar opposites don’t have to be at each other’s throats all the time.

[that said...] No? I guess not. I've never really thought about it that much to be honest.

What about salad on a pizza?
[ guys wtf ]

...I guess so. My mom and Uncle were pretty different people and they made it work.

[but she suddenly realizes something and shakes her head.]
He's not really my uncle. I just called him that when I was younger. He was my mom's boyfriend.
no subject
[ oh. ]
Oh I see. Easier than calling him "mom's boyfriend", huh? Do you call him something different now, then?
no subject
...it's kind of complicated? But maybe someday I'll get to call him Dad. We'll see.
no subject
... Hm. Is that something you're hoping for?
