[she sighs, and pulls out some of her hair from her hood. it's liquid-y, like lava.]

[ she gets a hug. hopefully he doesn't burn himself on the lava hair but he'll be careful. ]

[he does not! the lava hair doesn't seem to burn anything at all. she goes easily though, resting her head against his shoulder.]

[ good to know. he'll wrap an arm around her so he can stroke the back of her head through the hood. ]

[she very much appreciates the touch - she seems to ease into it, tension fading a little.

actually, maybe she'll just wrap her arms around him and cling very tightly to the back of his shirt, hiding her face in the hood and against his chest.]

he'll shift his arms around her so he's properly hugging her back, rubbing one hand against her back. ]

[she's going to stay here for a bit because her shoulders are shaking just a bit and she needs a minute.

[ yeah suffer under the weight of his caring, lup. he's not kidding when he says she's his favourite.

he won't say anything, he'll just keep rubbing soothing circles into her back. they're probably rocking slightly now, because that too is soothing. ]

[it helps. it really does, and she slowly relaxes into the rocking until she feels a little less like screaming.

a sniff, and then:] Thank you, Yuri.

[ it's okay. he's got her. ]

[ there's a pause, and then he laughs. ] I never did actually ask your name, did I?

I think I got a bit too used to just calling you Wrath. Or firebird.

[ hm. he move his arm up to cradle the back of her head. ]

[ heh. funny how that does feel like a proper introduction, despite the weeks that have gone by. ]
