it was a busy weekend. i don't blame people for not checking in or anything
but i manage
it's pretty sad though, isn't it?

[aubins]

...are you really ok yuri?
do you want to hang out for a little while?

if you can pull a killer out of thin air for me, that'd help things lust.

but i'm always here to hang out. lady's choice of location.

um...the rec room? we can watch that movie i told you about

[aubins]

i do. maybe next time we'll surprise you and actually find someone, for once.

[she doesn't text back because she's already on her way to the rec room, so when yuri enters the room he'll find that she's setting up the tv with the movie. there's also a tray on the ground near a few bean bags with a big bowl of popcorn and two cups of bubble tea.]

You're sure you're okay with this room? I should've asked sooner.

[considering yuri and luca were here before luca died, oops.]

[ oh it's the fabled bubble tea, he has heard of this ]

It's fine Lust. Can't blame a room for me sleeping in it.

[ he'll just go and flop down next to her and get himself comfortable. ]

[they flop! and back to the future's on the tv as lust also settles down next to him, dragging their snacks closer before handing yuri a taro bubbletea.]

Yeah I know, but I want to make sure! Can you blame me?

No. I appreciate the concern.

... Not much that can be done about things now though.

[ he will accept the tea and take a sip..........


and then kinda. coughchoke? what?? what?? ]

Little A, there's something in my drink.

[that's true. they hum in agreement and they're about to say something else, but then yuri's choking.]

Oh, it's boba! Do you not like it? I can get you a milk tea without it.

[aubins]

[ give him a second here is this is weird-- ]

This is boba? [ he. he chews the pearls? ]

... They're chewy. What are they? [ i mean he's taking another sip, sooooo... ]

Yup! They're little balls made with tapioca. They usually taste the same, but you can get different flavors of tea to go with it.

[aubins]

[ he takes another sip, slower this time. he's ready.

So ... why are they there then? They don't taste of anything, only the tea does. [ lust explain? ]

[probe]

It's a texture thing I think. I don't really know, actually. [now they're thinking about this.

they sip their own boba.]

I guess it's kind of the same way people use garnishes on eggs and stuff? It doesn't add much, but it adds just enough to make it unique.

[aubins]

Something for the sake of having something, is it?

It's interesting. Kaz mentioned it a couple of weeks ago but I had no idea what he was talking about.

Did any of us ever truly know what Kaz was ever talking about?

I doubt it! [both of you are so rude.] But I never talked to him before he died anyway. There's a lot of you I've never spoken to still, actually.

Really? I'd have thought more people would be talking to you all. Who haven't you spoken with?

Hm...do you really want the whole list?

[ the bigger question is does modty want to find and hand over the whole list ]

That, or people you haven't spoken to who you think you'd like to?

Um...Endorsi, Mr. Satoru, Grace, Lenore, Medb, Megara, Mineo, Ming Yi, Omi, Primrose, Law, Vira...and some of the people who've died never talked to me either. Actually? Of the people who have died the only ones I talked to were Luca and Mr. Masters, but I didn't like him very much after what he said about Wrath.
