mm. well, when this second kiss lingers, yuri will let himself lean into it properly this time. his hand doesn't rise to mimic what wrath is doing -- if they hadn't wanted him looking, it stands to reason he might not want to be touched when it's not through the cloak -- but it does catch onto and grip the fabric of their robe, as a compromise.

the hand on his cheek is warm, but he'll lean into it anyway. ]

[they shiver out a little sigh when he kisses back, and for the few moments that they allow it, they stroke his cheek with their thumb.

when they pull away, they hum, and then there's the sound of fabric rustling again. they reach down to hold onto his hand, keeping it where it is.]

You can open your eyes again. [the hood is back on!]

[ yuri's eyes flicker open at the verbal go ahead from wrath -- the hood is back on! the mystery remains. ]

Very smooth of you. [ the hand tangled in their robes give the fabric a little fond tug. ]

[they say, pleased.] You're pretty good at that.

It sure is. [they settle back into resting their head against his shoulder.] Practice makes perfect, though.

[aubins]

[ he's just going to rub the back of their head again? yuri knows his power now. ]

No one's even good enough to not benefit from a little practice.

[they sigh in content.]

If you keep doing that I'm just going to fall asleep.

That sounds like a you problem, Wrath. [ he's not stopping. ]

[they laugh, sleepily, and stretch out like a cat. this is the worst place to sleep, but whatever, they're going to catnap in his lap on this kitchen counter, then! this is yuri's fault.]

[aubins]

[ it's fine. you are free from this thread prison now. yuri's just gonna keep up the head massaging until wrath is out like a light and then just chill for a while.
