[And there it is.]

[Douman just stands there for a moment, the pain still there, everywhere, in their hand, in their missing eye.]

[How nice. Somehow, they feel more alive than ever.]

[With a huff, they turn around and exit the room. Time to see the elevator!]

[probe]

[the elevator is currently going down! it is occupado. how unfortunate.

there's footsteps behind them, though.]

[commedia]

[Douman has had Enough of This Shit, so they turn around, brandishing the wrench.]

And what do you want?

[probe]

[behind them is - omi! who flinches, and raises a hand like he's going to block a blow.]

Wait - wait.

[commedia]

[.....What?]

[They actually lower their wrench slightly, but they're still tense.]

Omi? What...what are you doing here?

[probe]

[omi lifts both his hands, and very carefully offers them to douman.]

Your eye... [he seems concerned.] I don't know, I woke up here. I'm glad to see you, though.

[commedia]

...It's fine.

[Its funny, how the tension eases as Omi reaches out his hand - he won't take them by both, but after a long pause, they take him by their free hand.]

Are you alright?

[probe]

[he smiles, but it's still very concerned.]

I'm okay. A little shaken, but. [he squeezes their hand gently.] Do you know what's going on?

[commedia]

I think we're caught in some other place! And there are plenty of curses abound!

[Its funny, how naturally they switch on the pleasant humble priest face, even in a state like this.]

I think there's an elevator here? Maybe we can go somewhere else. It's dangerous here, you know.

[probe]

[he nods a little.]

I think that's probably a good idea. The other rooms haven't been great. [... he looks at the elevator, which dings, and opens.] How many floors do you think there are?

[commedia]

[They raise an eyebrow at the mention of "other rooms". Wow...looks like Omi got off scott free.]

[They enter the elevator with Omi in tow.]

I hope that it isn't a lot. I hardly want to be stuck in this place forever.

[probe]

[omi sticks close.

the elevator doors shut, and - well, it just goes down to floor two! ding. the door to room 203 is open, and there's the sound of a scuffle.]

[commedia]

[Douman swings their hands a little. Holding hands is nice. Everything is very painful, but its nice.]

[And...here they are! Wow. Time to find out what this fight business is all about?]

What's happening?

[probe]

[he seems happy enough to swing hands. yaaay. romance (?)]

Is someone in trouble? [oh no! omi tugs at douman's hand.] We should look.

[commedia]

Hm? I suppose we could.

[Yeah, cloommate who is totally not evil, let's check it out! Douman is coming over, Omi in tow.]
