[ but that's in a normal volume to herself before she goes to explore this normal hotel room that won't be cursed at all in five minutes. sure. she's got a crossbow now! she's tough! she can put on a crab hat and be protected!!

let's pretend any of that works while she goes ahead and does her usual check of dresser, wardrobe and night tables. ]

[probe]

[there's not a lot in this room, just the usual bible and things.

she does, however, hear footsteps coming down the hall.]

[alteracion]

[ well! that's okay! she has a crossbow! so she's going to do the dangerous thing and go hide behind the doorway to peer at anyone incoming while holding it up, ready to shoot.

if she dies here, she's blaming molly. ]

[probe]

[there's footsteps - and weirdly enough, sniffing? sniffing sounds. it stops right outside of her room, and there's the sound of the doorknob rattling.

and then, as if whatever it is on the other side got bored, the rattling stops, and the footsteps continue down the hall.]

[alteracion]

[ I REALLY WISH SHE WOULD FIND THE SNIFFING WEIRDER, BUT SHE JUST ASSUMES IT'S A FURRY

well. this is super unsafe but she's going to open the door slightly so she can peer out at the footsteps fading away. what furry hell is this. does she see anything at all ]

[she sees a tail as something goes into the room she originally started in! it's pretty fluffy.

otherwise the hallway is empty!]

[alteracion]

[ ..................

nah you know what she's going to go over to the elevator instead ]

[probe]

[that's valid of her. she goes to the elevator!

there are four floors to choose from. she's on the first. which button does she press?]

[ well molly was allegedly right above her so. fetch quest it is. floor 2!! hopefully there's nothing on the ceiling anywhere because grace is not checking that ]

[yeah, hopefully there's nothing up there.

the elevator dings - and the doors open. down the hallway is... molly!]
