I hardly require a nickname. [no! the question also seems to throw them off-guard because they pause. what a question.]

Oh... that's actually kinda sad? [ :( ] I think it's a feeling that everyone should experience at least once, even if it's just a little thing.

[she says this, but the grip greed has on their glass grows a bit tighter, the skin of their hand crackling just a little.]

It isn't about being smart, Miss Amane. Unfortunately I've met plenty of people who have vacancy between their ears who've bested the best of men. It's about conviction and about reading your facts for inconsistencies.

If the skull didn't fit the case, perhaps it would have been wise to focus on the evidence you already had and work backwards from there. It isn't always just about what's in front of you. You have to know your--[they pause.]

It's best to know a little more about people to understand what may or may not be the truth, coming from them.
