[they kick the cabinet doors of the counter violently with the backs of their heels. it leaves burn marks against the wood.]

[...after a second, she shoves a hand through her hair. muttered:]

[a pause, and then very carefully, they push their hood back.

she's... an elf! her eyes are red around the edges, with black sclera and bright red-orange irises, and there are cracks of fire that spread up her neck and face. her hair is just liquid lava, and it drips occasionally and vanishes.]

[she sounds like she feels particularly heavy, with this.]

You just gotta decide if you want to hurt more people because you hurt, yourself. That's what it boils down to.

[fisherwoman]

[she - drops her face into her hands for a quick second. not because she's going to cry, but because she doesn't really want wrath to see the expression she makes.

muffled:]

[probe]

[a long pause.]

What are you going to do if it wasn't him? Does it matter?

[fisherwoman]

[she sighs.]

I know you said you can't tell me anything, but we both know it was him.

[probe]

[she shrugs.]

...Isn’t your name Wrath? I would have thought you didn’t mind it.

[she laughs. it's kind of a sad sound.]

Wrath doesn't always mean violence and killing, babe. Sometimes it means you're just an angry person on the inside. Sometimes you get steamed about doing the right thing, like some sort of lame protagonist.
