I just wanted to know if it that was meant as a reference to Sheila. I know she's eaten at least one. I didn't want everyone to start panicking if that was all it was.

[well.] I mean, she's not not eating them. The bodies are all gone otherwise.

I suppose some people are sentimental when it comes to such things, and might dislike knowing their friends' corpses were being eaten by one of us.

[She says this like it's a very weird thing to believe.]

If I died here, I would be happy to have Sheila eat my corpse. She's a very wonderful person.

[probe]

You know? I agree with you. Like, if I was going to have someone eat my corpse I guess it might as well go to a good cause? Sheila's great.

Precisely. But others may not view it that way.

Then is that really all there is to the 'corpses are being eaten' information? I don't want to browbeat Yuri out of following a lead, but I don't want anyone to make things difficult for Sheila, either.

I think that it's something you should look into past Sheila, but we can't help you further than that.

[a sigh.]

Sorry, I know you hate it when I'm vague, but I can't - I can't help more than this.

I don't hate it when you're vague. I only hate it when some of you insist there aren't any questions you can't answer, when there clearly are.

If the answer isn't as simple as 'it's just Sheila,' it's worth looking into. That's all I need. Is it related at all to the life support pods?

[a shrug.]

Seems like it would be, right?

It would seem so, but - those pods contain bodies for all of us, and they don't look like the corpses of the people who died here. So it is odd.

[probe]

I don't like that room. [she says, finally.] I stay out of it as much as possible.

[bonetiddies]

Hmm. [She gives that some significance because Wrath. Is a lich who would be okay with Sheila eating her corpse. So. that puts her comments in a little bit of perspective.]

Of the Avatars, who would you say knows the most about the workings of that room? Gluttony?

[probe]

[she thinks about that for a minute.]

Probably. Gluttony or like, Sloth, maybe? Maybe Despair.

I spoke to Gluttony. I find they have a tendency to begin to engage in conversation that would suggest an intent to provide helpful responses to questions, and then at a certain point veer into pointed and overfamiliar remarks and passive aggression. [Also, they're a bitch.] What I don't know is whether they do this because they found my questions too dull and off track, or whether it is simply their way of avoiding answering.
