Hmm. And what do you think I'll accomplish by doing this? That is to say - there is obviously more to what's happening here than just these murders and these trials. Finding another motivation - is this going to be helpful in us understanding that?

She's. . . more than anything, she thinks he would continue to sit and talk through these things with her even if her behavior had lost her all of his respect. So it's a relief, if that isn't the case.]

I will likely continue to, but it won't impact my course of action.

[at least the response is more a nod of understanding than anything else, if only because greed often finds himself doubting things here despite continuing to keep trying to understand how things are happening.]
