If you are truly concerned-- I have offered most of them advice on the same already. It seems this sin is one that gives many here some difficulty, in thinking of ways to indulge.

In many cases, it is dependent upon their own relationship with their emotions, and the root of that despair. The way it makes them feel, the way they wish to act on it as a result.

So is it more about... allowing themselves to feel it, and responding in kind, instead of bottling it up?

Precisely. It is about indulging in one's own emotions, giving in to the urges that result from them, and acknowledging their root.

It may also be about inflicting similar emotions upon others, should they choose to indulge in that way.

The people who are aligned to you... they've been managing okay, right? Is there anyone you can think of who might be able to use a little extra help?

They have done decently well for themselves-- but if they were not, I would not offer this freely. You can well imagine how it would go if they were to catch wind.

Ahaha, well, that's not entirely true, but it's also not entirely false...?

[she is, of course, primarily concerned about "ming yi". but also, she really likes the other despairs, too...]

So long as you remain watchful, I do not believe you will have too much cause for worry. Sharing these burdens is a way in which to indulge in our sin.

It just seems a little unfair! For most of the rest of us, indulging and doing what we want, that's going to make us happy, right? But... you and yours should be able to be happy, too.

It is like this for perhaps fewer of you than one may think. Indulgence is not always such a simple concept-- someone aligned with wrath might prefer to keep their temper in check, under most circumstances. Envy may not make them feel much better, and pride may harm the self as well. The results of gluttonous indulgence, too, may not make one feel well.

You have had an easier time of it than some, it is true. But mine is not the only sin which may feel unfair to others; it is only the one most easily viewed as such.

In any case, those assigned to it may still indulge in other manners, so long as they participate in their own to at least some degree. They need not rely completely upon despair.

No worse than what I have dealt with in the past, I assure you. There is one singular difference, however, in that I cannot simply be rid of you as I find it necessary.

You do make for less... unpleasant company than many of the others, I suppose, though it is also due in part to what you are.

I cannot say I have met your particular sort of god before, but in general- something along those lines, yes.

Familiar with those who are longer-lived, is perhaps more accurate.
