Yeah, anytime! I don't mind spending time with you guys when I'm not busy.

[but they hold out their hands.] Let me see what we're working with. Do you have a favorite color or anything? I think a nice green would look great on you.

You really are the social butterfly. How admirable. And...hm! The green I have is good...but it could be better!

[Just giving them their hands! And wow, Lust, out here wingmanning.]

I think I saw you made some designs as well for some others? Perhaps something like that.

Well...I have to be! It's just a part of the job. [lust is truly doing their best, and they're examining douman's nails to see how clean they are/the state of the nail, etc.]

Customization can be really cute. So my next question is...what do you think represents you? I can think of a few things that might look cool but they're your nails.

[commedia]

A part of the job? But surely you like it outside of the job, too?

[Well, surprisingly, the nails are very clean, and a vivid green color! Though they're definitely long and very sharp. The fingertips are all stained black, as if Douman dipped them in ink a long time ago and the stain has never faded.]

Represents me? Huhuhu. Resentment...grudges...ahaha, but I jest, I jest! Eyes aren't a bad idea, you know.

I don't mind at all. [then why did you say it, lust? still, they're careful with douman's hands and nails before they move to pick out a nice green, white and black.]

I think I have the perfect idea, but it's gonna take a little while. [but they uncap the green and take only one of their hands to begin painting.] So...why don't you tell me what you've been up to? Settling in okay?

[and for your frame of reference crystal, they are going to do this to douman's nails except with a darker green to suit them.]

[More handholding.....ish! Look, they'll count it. At the question, Douman lets out a hum.]

Well, besides the murder, and the trial, and being likely cursed into acting quite unlike myself....overall, this humble priest is doing quite well, mm! Quite well, indeed. What a fine selection of people you all have gathered here.

[it will count! especially since lust seems good at what they're doing and paints their nails with ease.]

It's hard to tell if you're sincere about it or sarcastic. [they don't mind either option apparently?] But you do seem pretty unbothered by all that compared to some of the others.

[A smirk crosses their face, like the sliver of a knife.]

As long as nothing gets in the way of my desire...then I will not be overly concerned. It might seem cruel, but...ah, it simply is the way it is. I am not here to change others.

I don't know if I'd call it cruel...a little harsh, but you all agreed to come here because you had something you wanted. Letting something stop you from achieving it seems sort of silly.

This is true. One can hardly give up one's dream for the rest.

[That's just the nature of things. The selfish, selfish nature.]

What is your dream, Lust? Your name suggests one thing, but I would hazard a guess as to you having more of a lust for life than other pursuits, hm.

[probe]

You wouldn't be wrong about that. [they can admit that easily enough.] But my dream? I want to be famous.

[commedia]

Famous?

[How interesting.]

Like...what are they called. Those "movie stars"?

[probe]

Yeah, something like that. I know it's kind of silly compared to the dreams you guys have, but...[a shrug.]

[commedia]

Silly?

[And their eyes widen.]

Oh, no. No, no, no. Hardly not! The dream to be seen by so many, to touch so many, to be admired and loved and be able to do that in turn...that's quite special, you know?

[probe]

[all the while they're painting their nails, so they can't exactly look up but they seem a little relieved about that.]

Yeah. I just think it'd be fun to do something to entertain other people, especially something I really love doing. But....I also wanted to become famous because I was trying to find someone. I thought that if I made it, they would be able to see me and come find me again someday.

[commedia]

Ah, so becoming famous would allow you to stand as a beacon of sorts?

[A nod, the bells of their hair jingling lightly.]

You know...you're like a little lighthouse. Guiding your sailor to shore. Mmmhmm, isn't that nice?

Right! If I succeeded and got my name out there, then there was a greater chance it'd work out. But I never really thought of it like that before.

[it's a nice thought, actually.] And now I'm here to make sure you guys get the chance to reach your dreams, too.

Thank you for that, Lighthouse. Or should I just call you Light? Since Lust doesn't seem quite fitting.

What other things do you know outside of painting nails?

There's only so much we can do for you anyway. [so they are on their own in a lot of ways.]

...I like to do a little of everything? Dance mostly. And I play video games? I like playing them for other people. And I guess I'm okay at drawing.

[Wow, another artist!]

Oh, you draw? What do you draw?

It's just things for me! Animals, people, stuff like that. I like drawing stuff I remember, too. Kind of like keeping good memories in my own style.
