[ while he's mostly ragging on himself for the fact that he knows nothing about magic, it's also pointing out that everything with magic is new and exciting. see, fire hands. ]

they very carefully stroke his cheek with their thumb.]

I like to play a little harder to get, Gu Yun. [they tell him, solemn. but then, as a follow up, they just laugh.] Tieflings are rad.

[ he stays like that, eyes closed for the moment. it's still weird, to be touched so much, but hey! sometimes you get thrown into a game of indulgence. ]

[their hands flash a little, a spark of a flame - it's not actually hot, just maybe a little startling.]

Hm. [they trail that hand down the side of his face, and trace his jaw instead.]

[ he doesn't even flinch. nerves of steel, baby! and then wrath broke his neck and freed me from playing a stupid obnoxious twink

alas that's probably not the case. gu yun's grin returns, settled, all peach blossom eyes. ]

What is it you said? You wanted me to hold something against you?

anyway. gu yun hates being blinded in any situation, if only because it's a give over of his trust. he just came from his time as the fragrance master, though, and...

there's a moment of hesitation. just brief - his eyes glance the room, quickly, like he's just making sure he knows where everything is.

and then, with an exhale, he closes his eyes. ] Alright. [ like that wasn't a big deal or anything ] I don't break promises. [ a beat, and then, more teasing; ] Don't do anything too odd.

[STOP THAT'S RUDE

they laugh a little, just a touch breathless. he closes his eyes, and they're quiet, for a moment - and in that quiet, there's a soft shuffle of fabric, like a hood coming off. a very warm palm comes up to rest over his eyes, loose and easy.

and then there are lips on his. it's a very gentle kiss, but it is a kiss nonetheless.]

true to his word, gu yun doesn't look, even if he wants to. he's used to being senseless, and having his eyes closed makes his finely tuned senses hum - it makes the warmth of their touch feel a little brighter, their scent a little stronger. he can still hear, which is disorienting in comparison, but gu yun tilts his head a bit and focuses instead on the gentle sweetness of a very soft, warm mouth on his.

his hand hovers, for a moment, before settling, curling into the fabric of the robe at the front, near the joint of the hood, and they'll likely feel him huff very softly as he returns the kiss.

it's a little funny, in a way gu yun can't (and won't) really explain - of course, his first kiss comes to him when he's unable to see. at least, perhaps, it's by choice. ]

[their other hand comes up to rest around his wrist, the hand holding onto their robes. they laugh, because they can't help themselves, and take, just a little more. they're not the kind of person to always be gentle.

they bite, gently, at his bottom lip, trying to coax him into opening his mouth, with a sound that is - not echoing, actually. it's soft and higher-pitched.]

[ that's okay. gu yun's not really a gentle person. the laugh gets him to huff again, and normally, he might say something snappy - oh, is my technique funny or what are you laughing at, because i'm laughing at the fact that i somehow still had to kiss someone blind, but luckily for everyone involved, the bite is plenty capturing of his attention. gu yun might be new to this, but he is a fast learner, and his mouth opens against theirs when coaxed no problem.

it's a little awkward, sitting in a beanbag chair. makes moving around more difficult than it really should be, but he manages to lift his other hand, and bring it up, to their shoulder, this time, and then the side of the neck, calloused hand very gentle, returning the kiss the best he can. ]

[he opens his mouth and they're quick to explore it, slow and languid and heated, like lava, like the cracks in their hands. for a second, their nails dig into his wrist, like they want to leave marks, and then - they pull back, with a final nip to his bottom lip.

because it is a little awkward - and almost like wrath is realizing it a bit late, they are super in public. the hand comes away from his eyes, and there's the sound of shuffling fabric. then, breathless:]

... You can open your eyes.

[when he does, the hood is back up.]
