Rather, you have to ask the right questions. And... I think I asked the right question last night, actually. Now that I'm recalling, I said something to him on Saturday that made him react oddly.

I've only received gifts from Wrath and Pride, aside from a lovely flower from you - Wrath did all she could for me, she said, and that was a power and a powerful item.
So... let's see. I imagine that little gem was his power given the week of the killing, since it was violent in nature. He must have been holding onto the saving... which I guess was an item likely given to him by Pride.

[they let out a startled ACK! at the pinch to their leg which is unfortunately one of two dangling down out of the quilt. NOT THE PINCH.]

[the silvery orbs in the hood wink out and vanish. they probably closed their own eyes. there is a pause, waiting for gu yun.
