Maybe I heard something along the lines of, "I'm being charmed after all?" [ TEASEEE he's going to hold on tighter so wrath doesn't like burst into flames on his lap and escape.... though she might like kill him instantly instead, but he's willing to face that danger! which is probably genuinely why they get along so well. horrible ]

[can't believe people are just out here bullying her all the time she doesn't burst into flames, but her hair does sizzle and curl into flames at the ends.] You stop, or I'm going to take advantage of your weird effects, you lush. [a pause. she's immediately apologetic.] Wait. Wait, not lush, I - sorry.

Sorry, sorry. [ he says, clearly not sorry. adorable. gu yun smiles up at wrath, clearly pleased with himself, having a grand old time. like the cat who got into the cream and is licking its paws afterwards, pleased with his victory.

though. there's a beat where he looks. confused? what is a lush, he genuinely has no idea. (it's you, gu yun, you're a lush.) but maybe it's easier for both of them if he just responds with a simple - ] Mm?

[ playing as if he was the one who didn't hear. ]

[grumble. she lets him have the mm? though, and honks his nose. a pause.] Anyway. I have things to tell you.

[ honk. he presents his face for it, honestly. ]

[i'm too lazy to do icons forever so i'm only doing them when it's appropriate

anyway, she shifts.]

Nothing like, super important. No lore. But first, look what Mollymauk did for me. [and she tugs her robes down enough to show him a poke tattoo.]

he waits patiently for the moment, not entirely sure what 'no lore' really means (her 'tragic backstory', probably), then peers around -- and, oh!

okay, so that wasn't there on sunday. he's not imagining things. at least this thought process doesn't show on his face. ] Mm, he mentioned this.

[ fufu. the urge to poke at it is there, like a gremlin, but he doesn't, instead touching at the closest lava crack nearby. ] It looks lovely. Did it hurt much?

[she shivers, when he touches the lava crack, glancing over her shoulder.]

He told you about it? [she sounds surprised, a little.] ... And yes, it hurt. A lot. I don't like pain in any way at all, so it sucked.

[ there's an irony in there about wrath not liking pain. fuckin glass bones and paper skin ass wizards gu yun doesn't point it out, though, instead interested in following that little shiver and examining the tattoo up close, even adjusting his liuli glass a bit to note the details.

gu yun makes a soft noise of affirmation to her question. wrath was correct in noting it before - he and molly talk a lot. ] He mentioned he got to choose the design... and that he'd had other thoughts he was warned against, [ dicks, ] but, I rather like what he's done.

she lets out a little sigh when he looks close.] ... I like it too. I like him, uh - a lot, actually. He reminds me of my brother, sometimes.

[...] Seeing him upset, uh, got me vibrating out of my skin a bit, so I just let him do whatever he wanted.

He's... [ gu yun trails off for a second, like he's trying to find the words. he's comically bad at just about anything that even remotely touches past "flirtatious and silly", and gu yun really enjoys molly's company - he's never quite had a friend like him, in so many senses of the world.

he stops peering over at the mark, for a moment, and rests his chin on wrath's shoulder, instead, looking past them. ] ...mnn.

[ wow for someone who is very charming that's. what he has to say, apparently.

ahem, ] ...Having a permanent mark is one way to do that, certainly.

[she carefully wraps her arms around him, when he trails off.]

... You good? [she asks, quieter, letting him settle however he's going to settle.]

[ no he's just fucking terrible at using the word "friend", actually, please don't enable this terrible behavior. if he notices wrath's concern and quiet warmth, he's not drawing attention to it. screams about sincerity ] He's rather talented, is what I was going to say.

Uh huh. [she sounds like she super doesn't believe him.]

You can admit you like him, you know. Who am I going to tell?

[ stop that super believe him. he doesn't squirm out of the grip at all, though, fairly comfortable. ]

Hmmm. Were you so keen to admit something similar...?

she gigglesnorts, holding onto him to make sure he doesn't like, fall off the chair or anything.]

[ thankfully, he does not fall off of the chair - that startled him! he's used to people taking vengeance on his sass by losing it not sudden bite vengeance - but his ears flush red, and he immediately shoves his ice cold hands on the first piece of bare skin he sees.

he'd shove them up her cloak if it wasn't so impossible to do, but her neck will also suffice!!! ]

[SHE SHRIEKS WTF COLD HANDS

are they like, on a chair, because if they are she's going to wildly upset the balance. timber.]

[ yeah i hope someone in the hallway hears the clatter because that chair containing two gremlins is hitting the floor. gu yun squawks, less than graceful, and is nice enough to hold onto wrath but there's really no saving either of them from hitting the ground.

[this is so stupid

she just hits the floor and dies laughing, immediately. she's still clinging to him, giggling helplessly.]

[ blinking up at the ceiling, his liuli glass horribly crooked, gu yun hears wrath start giggling, and.

yeah, this is really stupid. he starts snickering, too, wrapping his arms back around her and tipping his head back onto the floor with a low thump. wehehehe ]

[they can just be on the floor, it's fine.

eventually, she recovers, and pulls herself up to sit, making grabby hands for him.]
