Private Conversations ✨
Private conversations are a crucial element to playing this game. You may set up or take part in as many of these as you would like, and in fact are encouraged to reach out to as many different players as possible! As many characters as you like may be included in a single private conversation, which only needs to be reported one time by one player.
If you're new to setting up private filters, there's a tutorial here that should provide helpful instruction!
Please note that by default these conversations cannot be set during trial on Saturdays or between Thursday's curfew and the death announcement on Friday. Any private conversations taking place during these points in time should have been pre-approved through the appropriate channels.
TEXTING
Characters may also send private text messages to each other! Maybe you just need to relay a quick bit of information, or perhaps you can't find someone and want to see where they're at. Some private matters can be taken care of with just a few short words.
Phones will allow for twenty (20) messages between two users per day, 10 per participant or however you'd like to split them up. You may text multiple people for 10 texts each and ten replies, e.g. you can send 10 texts and receive 10 replies from person a, 10 from person b, and also 10 from person c. You may also just send spam messages if you want, but they'll be capped at 20 regardless.
Messages may only be text, and after the twentieth message has been sent, phones will start acting up and the messaging app will shut down.
OOCly, these can be handled like regular PCs, but we ask that all text exchanges are only 20 comments or less! However, you may also transition a text PC to an in-person PC if you desire.
Regardless of who you're starting a conversation with, please make sure to include the mod journal,

probe, on your filters for all private threads. We need to have access to all private conversations to be at maximum helpfulness at any point in time while the game is running. To that end, when at all possible please try to report your private conversations within 24 hours of when they begin. You won't get penalized for late reporting, but this allows us to stay caught up in all player goings-on. Friendly tip: it's easiest if the person who starts the PC reports it to this page for organizational purposes and to avoid overlap, etc!Finally, even if your character has died, characters in the graveyard may have private conversations amongst themselves as well! Please feel free to submit these to this post.
