But Fukuda did like him a lot, because he thought he was handsome and charming, and they had??? A fairly in depth nerd discussion??? I didn't have many chances to flex the fact that Fukuda is actually really smart so I was glad. For that.... And Fukuda likes to talk about things? He likes to have conversations with people that do not threaten to expose him as someone to be shunned. So he had a nice time and thinks Sfeer theory sounds cool.
Anyway he genuinely was never given any reason to think Luca was not a good person. I feel like he is not but Fukuda never got Lore so he's just like!!! Wow Luca!!! What a cool guy!!! He would have liked to get to know him better. As it stands he still had the vague feeling he had towards Omi (at first) and SQX where he's like why does this nice and attractive man like me?? He wants to be friends??? But it was nice and was one of the bricks in Fukuda realizing maybe he can have nice things and people that are willing to be around him.
Also fun fact the ONLY reason he didn't make it to endgame laboring under the false impression that Luca was bi was because Grell told him that victorian people just have to be performatively het.
