SQX immediately landed herself directly in Grell's good books ngl. SQX was friendly and nice and a good conversationalist and pretty and up for just hanging out with with Grell (and doing makeovers!), which Grell really sincerely appreciated?
Grell is shallow and doesn't like... actively consider people if she's not directly interacting with them a lot but she liked SQX and would have liked to hang out with her more. Strong friend potential there, but at this point would not have cared if SQX were permavored by a furby. Alas.
i'm writing my responses as i tag these bc i can't envision vlad having enough to say for a full tl;cr tl--
On the one hand, Vlad and Grell are like incapable of having a civil conversation with each other. Left to its own devices, their CR would just be fully negative. It's only thanks to Fukuda that he bothers tolerating her at all. Plus, gotta be honest--the fact that Grell understands his motivations and desires does bring her up a notch in his book. Even if they don't get along, he can at least respect that there's some kind of understanding there.
Then the murderdates happened. And, like, he still mainly puts up with Grell for Fukuda's sake, but also? He kind of gets it now. He sees the appeal. After that threesome he's a lil lowkey attracted...but nowhere near enough to interfere between her and Fukuda. He has his own goals re: women anyway. Attraction-wise, Grell is just...an interesting diversion from his ultimate goal.
