I've been writing letters since our second (???) week here! And I actually had a lot of earlier letters for you in case I were to die, but things really changed along the way. I had a bunch of papers where I transcribed what I remember from Nanami's report about patchface, in hopes that maybe you would get so upset that you would just yell about this in trial and people would vote for him. Oh, there's some lore I could tell you, Apparently the report about UWU where it starts with "IT WAS SMALL" was also written by Nanami! Funny since the report reminded me of Mahito's case the most.

Speaking of people, it looks like the ones we wanted to save from the Settlement are saved, huh? Yanagi and Nanami. I kind of learned too late, but I found out that the Suguru that was here was not my best friend. It was a relief, but it reminded me again of the things I didn't get to do for Suguru. I never told you too much about him and maybe it was for the best. You are still grieving for your close friend, too.

Which opens up to me talking about this thing!

Somewhere along the way, I stopped thinking about how I could use you, even if it's a little less. I'm not sure if you figured it out from hanging out with me, but I'm the type of person that takes traits from people I like. From Suguru, I took his moral compass, but not his compassion and kindness for some reason. Not sure why that kind of stuff doesn't stick? Like... How to comfort people. How to talk to them when they're having a bad day. How to be there for them emotional so they don't walk down that dark path. I was never good at that and it's originally why I came here, to learn how to connect better so I can support others back at home. Experiences! Wishes are nice, too, but it sounds like I have to use mine to negate Mahito's now.

Went off-tangent a bit there, but what I wanted to say was that I might have picked up some things from you that I've always wanted to be. Compassion? Care. Kindness... I think I got a bit of those.

If I can save someone from making the same choice Suguru made, you would be one of the people I thank. Even if you kind of went full idiot within the last couple of weeks, you're still kind and caring.

A list of things to wrap this up:
1) May you enjoy your new life with this Sasazuka Takeru.
2) Don't lose sight of what's important to you.
3) Most importantly, remember your happiness matters, too.

If you forget those things, I will find you and curse you, then also curse your whole bloodline.

Gojou, legitimately, thought about using Mineo on the fly as a rapport buffer since he thought for sure many people would grow to like him. Mineo is bully bait and is earnest, so he thinks that's easy honey for all types of people. Maybe he's right?? Maybe he's wrong??? But he sure thought about this within the first 3 seconds of getting a text where Mineo was like... Gojou-san........ Mahito is sleeping in my room... why did you banish him and Gojou's eyes dilated like a cat's. Quite frankly, he hoped that Mine would doxx anything strange Mahito did with Endorsi since Mineo is the one that tipped him off that Mahito and Endorsi were even friends to begin with. This did not pan out, but he's fine with that. He thought Mineo was very good company. Very funny. Enjoyable.

sweats profusely. Then there was Fukuda's execution where Gojou saw Mineo bust a gasket (along with everyone else) over the fact Fukuda did kill a bunch of people before coming here. He was very unimpressed by the whole ordeal and had to reconsider how he wanted to approach Mineo if he wanted to keep their relations relatively good, so he used the same tactic he believed would always earn Mineo's favor. Honesty. Drops some lore that he also has killed people, he has sacrificed thousands for the many, and Mineo reacted well to it (nice), but he gets super blindsided when Mineo starts talking about how he worries about him.

Gojou obviously thought that was weird. He's the strongest sorcerer in his world (you know jjk) and he has never had anyone legitimately worried about his well-being. Even in this murdergame, he's like yeah I can die, but he never considered. Y'know. That people would care to protect him? To save him (unless he forced their hand). Mineo kept emphasizing and wanting to get closer and he had to wonder why. He has a lousy personality which is well aware of, but Mineo seems to be fine with that. He accepts it and starts BULLYING HIM. Mineo is BULLYING HIM and he's okay with that.

Somewhere between week 3-4? i don't remember, but he considered Mineo a good role model for what he considered to be compassion and kindness. He's well aware that it's what he lacks and it's that gentle touch that he needs if he ever wanted to support his students or anyone at all. When he said "I would learn a lot from reading your route" that was what he believed he would learn from it. he's seen Mineo's appeal and grew to like him more with each interaction because being cared for so ruthlessly is such a strange thing.

Anyway, Gojou watched Mineo twist to be similar to everyone else on the station (:dislike:) and the whole childe week gave him a serious migraine. There were a lot of complicated feelings where he worried that Mineo would fall if he kept walking this kind of path cause wowee. I'M STILL THINKING ABOUT how Mineo is like, yeah, satoru! I will save you... I won't let you die, then the childe trial WHICH MINEO CONDUCTED happens and Gojou was like maybe i'll spite vote myself because dying on this station is such a joke to everyone alive. But he chose not to do it because he knew Mineo would spiral... He didn't want to hurt him like that because Gojou doesn't want him to break. Mineo wouldn't learn anything if he broke, after all. However, he doesn't regret saying those things to Mineo after trial.

also since Gojou lived and had to think over everything from w0-6 that weekend, he entertained some thoughts of nearly killing everyone on the station. there's a list of people he would spare which includes Mineo and his +1 of choice. good thing he pieced himself back together and thought i will settle with cursing some people for a bit which is why Mineo and Takeru got hit with a curse on monday.

Gojou still cares about Mineo a lot and sees traits that Suguru had in him. He also sees Mineo as the type of person Suguru would have wanted to save, so he instinctively wants to protect him, too. He's ready to cockblock Mineo from having a full corruption story and only wants him to be happy? To find someone he wants to share his life with and have a family if that's what he wants... Of course, he's worried the guy thinks too much about others and not enough about himself and is why he's trying to tailor their conversations to be about Mineo lately. They're good friends and he wouldn't trade what they have for something else.
