Yes. Considering the timing, I'd assumed it was another one of Law's confidants, trying to protect him.

Might've been. [they take another sip.] I won't confirm or deny it.

I just wish I could have done more, myself. But... I suppose that sometimes, the people we care about are simply beyond saving.
