I suppose we are more similar than I anticipated then. [there's definitely curiosity because, like, of course he wants to know. he wants to fully understand this thing gojou's labeled a disaster but also it feels sort of shitty to dredge that up unprompted. instead of asking though he stays quiet and seems to be thinking things over.]

My mentor was the prosecutor in my murder trial. He was found guilty of both coordinating with the culprit who killed that attorney to frame me and for the murder of my father. He has since been arrested and executed. Those are personal things.
And then there are the cases that I work with as a prosecutor. I have been kidnapped, nearly killed and involved in high-risk cases multiple times. Those are things that occur and yet I continue doing this because it's important to me.
