For fleeting moments, she'll realize that she should be 23, that this life is far in her past by now and this world cannot be real... before all of it starts to feel like a dream to her. It does, however, throw him off balance, sending him careening forward and falling to the ground. He tries to kick back at his attacker as he falls, if only just as a "screw you", but he doesn't have much control right now.
When he falls, the mirror shatters in his grasp from the harsh landing. ]
he's not nearly fast enough to make a swipe back for the weapon when primrose is suddenly not primrose - god, that's what he gets for being nice, shen yi would be rolling right now - and gu yun hisses out a swear in his home language, kicking into action mode immediately, with a half second of eye contact with childe and then straight to business. if he'd been able to remain five seconds longer in that other illusion, he could've gotten his armor and then we'd be talking!
but no!! instead, he's fighting not primrose. as the fire comes blazing towards him, gu yun's instincts kick in, and he uses some of that super agility gifted by these deman powers to roll out of the way. his useless left arm takes a burst of red flame, the huwan around his wrist nearly incinerated by the heat and the skin there burned toasty hot, but he's right back up to his feet and immediately starting to try and close the distance. extra agility makes an already fast gu yun much faster, and he does his damndest to dodge attacks on the way, but the goal of winning back his weapon and being a distraction, at least for now, is pretty clear.

Even Childe, for all that he's accustomed to unpleasant surprised, is caught off-guard just long enough that he's a little too slow in dodging the attack. The blades catch his leg, leaving him with a nasty gash that will probably hurt once the adrenaline and superpowers are gone, but for now, he ignores it.
He would truly love nothing more than to leap into the fray--this thing is clearly strong, and fighting it would definitely be fun, in a way that he's never gotten to experience before.
But tragically, he'd rather not be stuck in this illusion forever, which is what he's assuming will happen if they fail, here. And it said "can't have you helping that thing", which probably means that helping "that thing" is exactly what they're meant to do. Being a pain in the ass is the next best thing to a good fight, he guesses. Ugh, responsibility.
So for now, he leaves fake Primrose to Gu Yun, and dashes towards Baby Goat instead. Hopefully touching the thing will trigger whatever needs to be done because he's not inhaling goat breath or what the fuck ever okay. HE WANTS TO GO BACK AND JOIN THE FIGHT!!!]

Vlad won't be left out either, as Primrose? sends a torrent of red flame his way.]

that's the trouble, isn't it? he manages to move out of the way of the bolts at his chest, drops low as they sail over his head, catches himself on his right hand and springs back up to his feet. childe's going for the goat, vlad's coming in to ally, and gu yun sees a chance to make a grab for the wind slasher as he gets closer, closer -
and then, one of those strengthened attacks comes at his dead arm. gu yun doesn't feel it. maybe that makes it more horrifying, when he leaps upwards and keeps attacking, grabs the end of the wind slasher with his right hand and yanks to pull it back and free, as the red energy connects and slices his hand off above the wrist, in a shower of blood across the nice space rocks.
