So she will climb towards the handle and do her best to catch the handle with her hands, hopefully pulling it down. If it's not enough to pull it standing on the chair, she'll let go and put her weight on it.]

thankfully the worm is not like, super strong, so vira manages to wrench it off of her. it does leave a huge ring of teeth around her upper arm, though. it means a little mauling and her arm's kind of fucked up, but it's fine. at least she can walk!
harrow manages to climb up, and grab the handle. she might have to jump a little, but it's fine - the handle comes down, and the door squeaks open slowly, just enough for the four of them to be able to get through it. probably. if they don't get eaten by goo worms first.
it's really dark, by the way, and if your lighter is out, you're freezing.]

[the bedroom has a bed, a bedside table, a lamp (that is shattered and knocked to the floor) and a bookcase. everything is made out of metal, though sometimes if you look at it at the right angle, it almost seems like it's the same sort of off-white that the common room on the base is. the bed has no mattress, just a ratty, moth-eaten blanket hanging through the metal slats, and the table rattles with the wind, short on one side. there are puddles of water in here too, and a lot of rust - no thudding, rattling noises from the ceiling here, at least.
sasazuka starts towards the tiny humanoid (which is like 2 feet tall, for reference) and it immediately looks up at him. it doesn't attack him, though - it seems frightened. now that he's closer, he can see that it's wearing a paper bag over it's head, with eyeholes cut out. long, tangled black hair spills out from under the bag, down to the little figure's waist. it looks like a child, though the proportions are weird in a way you can't quite grasp.
