Another recalibration is the best we can figure. They disappeared without warning and came back without warning. They can't return, and the things they managed to see weren't entirely real.

Almost a mass hallucination, but not quite.

Normally, yes. But that situation was an anomaly. They disappeared out of sight, and we couldn't see where they were or what occurred during that period of time.

Fair enough. Hm, he said... They were in a room with giant things that tried to eat them? And then another room were more things tried to eat them. And then they were locked somewhere and starved to death and woke up in the kitchen.

He said it seemed pretty Gluttony themed. Considering the whole... eating thing? Everything tried to eat them.

I can at least assure you that Gluttony themselves had nothing to do with it. They were as puzzled as the rest of us.

I mean, it'd be pretty weird for Gluttony to go through that much trouble just to traumatize them, I guess.
