[he sounds pleased to have been asked, though, smiling fondly.]

I've been here a pretty long time, but- not always.

[Leaning forehead against forehead again.]

Where were you before?

Home. I don't think you'd know where it is.

...Do you miss home, Envy?

...yyyyes and no? Parts of it, I miss a lot, but in some ways- I actually like being here more.

[commedia]

Let me guess, because of all the attention?

The attention, sure, but it's also just....

I didn't really fit there, you know? Not well. I never have. But here, it's-- different. I've had the other Avatars, but there are people here who don't mind that I'm awkward, or that I have a bunch of eyes, or-- I could make a whole list, probably, but I feel like that is an exercise I shouldn't do?
