I think it's sweet that they are. And I totally get it. I'd want to find the right person, too, I think. [snacking, snacking....but they shake their head.]
No, but I try to go to bed early some nights when I can. Why?
[Are they sweet or are they just in the wrong game?? He doesn't seem to have anything to say to that, either way.]
Right before we were made to sleep, there were some strange noises. [He's saying this in the tone of someone who expects it's already known.] And just now, before Miss Beau was taken, there were more. If I didn't know better, I'd say you had rats of some kind.
Sure, I don't mind. They might know something about it that we don't. Is it okay if it takes a while to get an answer? I think all four of them kind of want to be left alone right now...
Aw, don't worry! I'd land for you guys sometimes. [but they go quiet for a sec as the back of their cloak flutters.] It would be pretty fun to fly though.
You'd have to, you can't eat while you're gliding.
[No pizza and flying unless you're Venti and you have a pet dragon, which Childe doesn't because he kills dragons for work and/or fun. It's unclear. Don't worry about it.
I could try! [they could not, and food would be a bribe to keep them grounded. nevertheless...there's a sigh.]
I can't. I really, really want to, but it doesn't work like that. [but now that childe's actually looking, yeah, he might see there are two small bumps in the back of their cloak just under their shoulders where a pair of wings might fit.]
[Oh... he lifts a hand briefly, almost unthinking, before he pauses and drops it again. It's rude to touch people without asking permission, even if they represent Lust. (childe voice) consent is key!!!]
...Can I ask why? [Is it an injury, or something preventing them from doing it?]
It's just the back, and you're one of mine anyway. I don't think it's a big deal. ...but close your eyes for a second!
[no peeking! also they still never said anything about showing their face so part of this is really just trying to figure out how to make this work. it's fine.]
[so when childe opens his eyes he will see that lust has actually pulled their cloak up to their shoulders so that their head is still hidden. they also get to confirm that lust is, in fact, a girl given that under their cloak they are wearing a very short, thin white long-sleeve dress. they are also wearing heels.
the most important thing though is that they have very tiny wings that are about the span of their shoulders and come down to about where the bra line would be. they're soft rainbow colors.]
But--oh, huh, there are they are. Wow, they really aren't big enough to hold anybody's weight, huh. He is Looking Respectfully, and still not touching! Are they feathery, or something else?]
[that's true. lust can absolutely do whatever they want. but for now they let their wings flutter in response. they're feathery and soft like stereotypical angel wings.]
I've had them for a while. That's why I was hoping things would change, but they just stopped getting bigger one day. That was a long time ago though.

How do you do that, anyway?

[Can't believe the weird sounds are just their Avatars wiggling around through the Mario pipes]

[is that it? that seems to be it.]

okay he's just laughing]
If you had a Wind Glider, we'd never find you!

He's glancing at their cloak curiously.]

They're too small. [they sound pouty about it.] I thought they would get bigger, but they're gonna stay this way.
no subject
Are you sure? How long have you had them? [Listen maybe sometimes npcs can get growth spurts, as a treat]
no subject
Pretty sure...it's been a while and they haven't changed at all. They just got more colorful.
no subject
More colorful?

I can show you if you want.

I'd be honored by your trust.

Did you gain these here?

[...] But they're still cute, right?
